When I started to play I was recommended to play knight. So I did. But then when I started to duel. I always got crushed, because of that you have to have 5 farmers and 20 archers. I didn't know that and I believe the tuto didn't say that either. And I find somethings a little bit strange like that working and stuff.

Make sure you don't get to level 5 quickly though or else you'll be quickly sent to the road of poverty :/

I recommend raising your skills in the tavern for money :P

the trick is to level up SLOWLY. Do not rush. The faster you level up the suckier your character will be. Hmmm. So Veryll and Binh are playing it again. I wonder if my characters are still there. Those damn russians!!

Legend, it's not that you HAVE to have 5 farmers and 20 bows. I've seen loads of knights not using that, and still winning. It's about tactics, and finding one that works for you.

And of course the tutorial wouldn't go trough every possible combo of troops that you can have and tell you what's good or not. It's all personal choices. And it's a tutorial, it's purpose is to learn you the basics of a game, not nag about each and every detail of the game.

Could someone explain to me what exactly can we do here? Basically we should not level up quickly so we dont get killed? So I should not do those battles that I see on map? Or should I?

I am doing only mining if I am not mistaken, not really sure about anything there... what else can I do? Those duels give lots of exp, so should not do them either at first? Plus for new players duels are really not good, since we would all die, we're weak as new people there...

Would like some advices :) thanx

Do battles (hunts) i guess, and do some duels.. at least i do them till lvl 3 to get swordsmen (as i play knight) don't know if this is good but anyways :p

Mainly if you want to stay the strongest for your level then you would want to do hunts/work/thieving/merc quest only.

But that's usually boring and unneccessary. Mix in some duels and group battles if you like. You won't be in that much of a disadvantage.

Also tournaments is the way to make money quick if you got the skills! I <3 tournament. Survival Tournament exist once every 2 week.

Ok, so, hunts - when you click map and encounter random events of creatures keeping gold... work is enrolling at mining, so far I only did that, anything else I can do? ... I was not able to find thieving and merc jobs, I am able to steal and be hired as mercenary? Keep in my its my first day in that game :)

Could you explain where I find that?

You aren't required to bare arms from levels 1-4.

Once you reach level 5, you have to buy weapons and other equipment to match your Ammunition points aka Combat level.

So I guess I would recommend working 10 times then hunt (Or else you'll recieve a workoholic penalty). That way you'll earn more money and your faction points will be pretty high when you reach combat level 5 :]

I am lvl 5
(51825) - This is the experienced that i accumulated.
+38175 (in gray) is the experience i need to get to the next level.

Knight, Necromancer, Barbarians, Elf, Dark Elf, Wizard and Demon are the factions.

Every faction levels up. Currently I am a lvl 3 Barbarian. Each faction has different ability.

Guilds are the same. Except that you have to do a certain thing to gain points. For Hunting, you have to hunt :P hunting is attacking the enemies that shows up on the map or assisting someone in a hunt. Asking for assistance is a lvl 2 hunter's guild ability I think. You get laborer's guild points by working.

Each guild has different level requirements. lvl 5 for mercenary guild.

Im being lazy now so I'll just tell you a secret.

Stupid lordswm rule have a bunch of restriction for additional characters. No renting/loaning/repairing/enchanting/posting in forums/and bunch of other stuffs. I just put that in there to gain freedom to interact with friends with both accounts while I decide which of my two characters i like best and get rid of one later :D

p.s. I do have a nephew. :D Although he don't like these games :( He's a shooting type guy lol.
